Who We Are

We are passionate educators and childcare providers with over 20 years of combined education and service-oriented experience.

Kimberly Cano, Founder and Executive Director

Ms. Kim formally studied Education, Inquiry and Justice at Georgetown University and later received her Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. She is committed to using education as a tool for social justice, combined with research based best practices.

Eloy Cano, Business Development

Eloy has a strong background across both the business and education sectors. With an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing & Operation and Information Management from Georgetown University and a Master of Education in Human Development from Harvard University, Eloy is dedicated to lifelong learning and community engagement.

Rondala Navarro, Lead Caregiver

Ms. Ronnie has worked as a care provider across various sectors including childcare, healthcare, and senior care. She has developed an expertise in lesson planning and in designing unique, engaging activities, which complement her nurturing care. Together we look forward to sharing our skills and passion through the early childhood experience at Journey Child Care Center LLC.

How We Do It

Our services extend beyond basic childcare because we offer not only a robust early childhood program, but also an extended childcare program, and a comprehensive family & community program. 

Early Childhood Program- A full-time early childhood experience that is tailored to meet all of your little one’s care needs, while also fostering their lifelong love of learning

Early Learning & Development - Robust daily lessons and activities 

Care - High-quality meals, staff, & facilities 

Extended Childcare Program - Engaging and educational child care experiences provided during Holidays, Summer, Before & Afterschool hours, and Weekends

Family and  Community Program - We best serve children by also providing comprehensive services & resources to their families and communities
